Jim and Carol's 1999 African SafariIn September 1999, Carol and I went on an African safari to Tanzania and Kenya with Thomson Safaris. Our journey took us to the Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, and the Masai Mara in Kenya. These prints were taken with a Nikon 6006 body and a Quantaray 70-300mm consumer-grade zoom lens, using Fuji Super HQ ISO-200 color print film. The camera usually sat on top of a small bean bag on the top of the safari vehicle. The digital images were scanned from 3x5" prints using an Epson Perfection 1200U color scanner.
